Scripture Focus

6He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
7The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
8They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
Psalms 111:6-8

Biblical Context

God shows the power of his works and the promise of an inherited heritage. His works are truth and judgment, and his commandments are sure, standing forever in uprightness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your entire world is an expression of an inner state. When the Psalm says God has shown his people the power of his works, it is speaking to your awakening to the power of your own I AM and the images you dwell upon. The 'heritage of the heathen' is the external world that appears when your inner decree has not yet settled into conviction. The 'works of his hands are verity and judgment' points to the inner law of your acts: what you accept as real becomes true because it aligns with your deepest assumption. 'All his commandments are sure' means the inner laws you obey become unshakeable when you align feeling with intent. 'They stand fast for ever and ever' signals the eternal efficacy of a state you hold consistently; 'done in truth and uprightness' invites you to live with integrity of your inner world. The vision is not to change external appearances through effort but to reform your awareness; as your inner state rests in the image of completeness, your life naturally reflects that inheritance.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the state 'I AM the power of my works' and feel the certainty of your inner decree become your lived world; linger in that feeling for a few minutes while imagining the outward results as already fulfilled.
