Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse speaks of a readiness that arises when the divine life is awake within, with holiness as inner purity and a fresh, morning-renewed vitality that comes like dew.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the spiritual level, 'thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power' signals an inner state—when your sense of self is aligned with the I AM (God as awareness) your inner 'people'—the thoughts, feelings, and choices—are ready to move in harmony with that power. 'In the beauties of holiness' are not external rites but inner dispositions: purity, integrity, and a radical separation from old self-will. 'From the womb of the morning' signals fresh births of consciousness at the start of each day; the day of power arrives when you awaken to that reality. 'Thou hast the dew of thy youth' is the returning, refreshing energy of life that comes when imagination is used to embody this I AM as present truth. You are not begging for change; you are waking to it by imagining the end and dwelling there until it saturates your feeling. When you maintain this assumption, events and people align with it because you have become the thing you sought. The whole verse invites a daily act of inner decree: assume, feel, and carry yourself from the end into the everyday.
Practice This Now
Assume the state: 'I am willing now in the day of power.' Close your eyes, breathe into it, and feel the beauty of holiness rising within; let the dew of youth refresh your vitality and stay with it until it feels real.
