Within the sanctuary of your own consciousness, the LORD is your I AM, and the rod of thy strength is the disciplined imagination that rises when you refuse to accept limitation. Zion is not a place apart from you; it is the state of awareness from which power flows. To rule in the midst of thy enemies means you govern inner thought—doubt, fear, habit—by the unassailable fact: I am. When this inner ruler stands, thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, for your faculties respond to the authority you claim. The beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning denote a fresh birth of purity and purpose at each dawn; the dew of thy youth speaks of renewed energy, vitality, and optimistic imagination. Do not seek it in the world; awaken it within by assuming the state you desire and feeling it as present now. Imagination creates reality; revise the scene until it confirms the ruler who stands in Zion, and watch the outer world align itself to your inner decree.
