Biblical Context
That the verses declare God’s hand at work, turning curses into blessings. The speaker vows to rejoice as the enemies’ schemes are exposed by their own confusion.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within Neville’s teaching, Psalm 109:27–29 becomes a map of inner sovereignty. The 'hand' is the I AM moving through your consciousness, not a punishment from without. When you hear a chorus of curses—judgments from others, fear, doubt—do not resist; bless instead, and keep your attention on the fact that the power behind life is always your own awareness. Letting them curse while you bless is a discipline: you refuse to concede that the external world defines you; you revise your inner state to the truth that the Lord’s hand has already acted in your favor. When appearances arise that would humble you, imagine them as the old self-image leaving you; let them be ashamed by their own confusion, as a mantle cast aside. You, the servant, stand rejoicing because you know you are the manifested idea of God in activity. Continue the assumption until the outer scene reflects your inner rearrangement, and the would-be adversaries reveal themselves as mere thoughts dissolving in the light of your new state.
Practice This Now
Practice: close your eyes, breathe, and assume the state, say 'I am the hand of God in this situation; all curses are blessed into reality,' then feel the joy of your new inner state as if it is done.
