Shechem and Succoth are not places on a map; they are appointments inside your mind where you resolve loyalties and allocate energy. When you assent to 'Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver,' you harmonize your faculties—healing (Gilead), memory and justification (Manasseh), intellect and will (Ephraim), discipline of your word (Judah)—into one living principle.
