Psalms 105:28

Biblical Context

God sends darkness and makes it dark, and the people do not rebel against His word.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider that darkness here is a state of consciousness, a quieting of the senses through which the inner Word can operate. The verse is not about punishment but about the efficacy of surrender to the I AM. When you are in a moment of darkness, you are being asked to trust the decree already spoken within you. The word becomes your practical reality; to rebel would be to resist the very means by which you are led to greater alignment. If you do not resist, the darkness itself works for you, allowing attention to withdraw from surface appearances and turn toward the inner light that the Word reveals. This is Providence in action: the I AM governing your every moment, even when the outer world seems dim. Presence arises not from forcing brightness but from consenting to the Word as the ruler of your experience. In that consent, you realize that you are not at the mercy of darkness, but under the benevolent command of your own inner God.

Practice This Now

Sit in quiet, close your eyes, and assume the line 'I AM' is speaking within you now. Feel the Word moving through the darkness until light and guidance reveal themselves as your lived reality.
