12When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
13When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
14He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Psalms 105:12-15

Biblical Context

The psalm describes how God protected a small, wandering people and safeguarded the anointed and prophets from harm.

Neville's Inner Vision

View this Psalm as a map of consciousness rather than a history. They were few, strangers moving among nations; so you may feel small or out of place in a world of shifting kingdoms. Yet the I AM within—the inner king—refuses to permit harm. When you stand in the ongoing assumption of your God-state, you rebuke the 'kings' of limitation and deny the power of fear to touch you. The charge, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm, becomes your inner decree: you are protected by the very fact of awareness, and nothing external can override your reality when you insist on it. The anointed is a state of realization that you are the temple of God; to touch it is to attack your own reality, which cannot stand under the light you insist upon. Therefore the apparent threats fade as you dwell in invulnerability, and guidance enters as whispers, dreams, and a revived sense of purpose. Even apparent authorities bow to your inner law when you act from the I AM.

Practice This Now

Choose a current situation and silently declare, 'Touch not mine anointed; I AM protected by the I AM within.' Then feel the shield of awareness form around you.
