Scripture Focus

6Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
Psalms 104:6

Biblical Context

The verse depicts the deep covering the earth as a garment, with waters above the mountains. It pictures the unseen foundation of creation shaping visible form.

Neville's Inner Vision

I hear the verse speaking of the earth cloaked by the deep as by a garment, and the waters standing above the mountains. In the language of consciousness, the deep is the very being of awareness, the I AM that clothes every scene with meaning. The mountains are the stubborn forms you think endure, but they are but fixed beliefs, images you have agreed are real. When you accept that the deep covers all, you invite the waters of consciousness to flow into those forms, dissolving the illusion of separation. The 'waters' above the mountains declare that nothing in the outer world stands but as a shadow of your inner state. Therefore change is not an event in time but a shift in awareness. If you wake up to the truth that you are the I AM at the center of all sight, you clothe every situation with a fresh inner garment, and the external world bends to that new texture. Providence then guides from within, and accountability is the recognition that you fashioned what you now inhabit.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and, in the present tense, affirm 'I AM' as the deep garment enfolding my world. Feel that enfolding presence now and revise one circumstance by living from that state.
