Biblical Context

Psalm 104:29-30 describes God hiding His face and taking away breath, causing life to falter, then sending Spirit to create and renew the earth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the psalm speaks not of distant events but of your inner weather. When you feel God's face hidden, you experience trouble because you have identified with separation. The breath that dies is the life force you believed depended on conditions outside your I AM. Yet the next line reveals the immutable truth: it is God who sends forth Spirit, and with that Spirit you are created anew, and the face of your inner earth is renewed. In Neville's terms, life is a state of consciousness. The 'earth' is your mental atmosphere; renewal is a revision you insist upon with feeling. The dying breath is your old assumption that you are separate from the Source; the Spirit's arrival is your vivid awareness that you are the I AM, present and creating. Practice living from the end: assume the feeling of a life renewed by Spirit this moment, as if your world is being remade by your own inner decree.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and revise: 'I am the I AM, renewed by Spirit now.' Feel the energy flow through you as your inner world is renewed.
