Neville's Inner Vision
Psalm 104:1-4 is not about distant geography but the state of consciousness I awaken in. Bless the LORD, O my soul becomes a directive I give to myself as I align with the I AM. God is not outside me; He is the I AM clothed with honor and majesty, my inner being wearing light as a garment. When the text says you cover yourself with light, I interpret it as the mind's natural attire of clarity and truth. The heavens stretched like a curtain announce that my awareness expands to embrace the full spectrum of possibility. Beams of His chambers in the waters reveal a hidden architecture within me—depths where creative power resides. Clouds as His chariot indicate the moving of ideas and moods beneath the surface of my life, while the wind beneath His wings is the breath that animates my thoughts. Angels, spirits, ministers, a flaming fire are the faculties of consciousness—intuition, courage, energy—acting as servants to my highest self. I am to rest in this premise: I am that I AM, clothed in light, ruling my inner world with majesty and love.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume the state, saying I am clothed in light and majesty; imagine my inner heavens expanding and my thoughts guided by fiery ministers. Stay with the feel-it-real until the impression deepens.
