Scripture Focus

3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;
4Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
5Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Psalms 103:3-5

Biblical Context

Psalm 103:3-5 speaks of God acting in the inner life: forgiveness of iniquities, healing of diseases, redemption from destruction, and a gracious flow of mercy and nourishment that renews youth.

Neville's Inner Vision

Notice that the verses do not plead for healing; they decree the inner state already present. When you affirm 'I am forgiven,' you are not asking God to do something; you are recognizing the I AM as complete right-now awareness. To 'heal all thy diseases' is to hold in imagination a spotless state, for disease is merely a belief in separation from wholeness. As you dwell in the feeling that your life is redeemed from destruction, you withdraw attention from threat and invest it in the safety of your inner citadel, where lovingkindness and tender mercy crown you. The 'mouth' that is satisfied with good things is your spoken belief—every word you utter from this quiet certainty becomes the vibrational law your world returns. And the renewal of youth is the burst of energy that accompanies a fixed assumption held long enough in feeling, until perception shifts to the new normal. The entire stanza invites you to live from the inner kingdom of I AM, to treat time as a friend who reveals what you already are.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes and assume the state: I am forgiven, I am healthy, I am redeemed. Feel the mercy as a present atmosphere; let your next breath renew your sense of youth.
