Zion in this psalm is not a place on a map but a state of consciousness invoked by your I AM awareness. When it says Thou shalt arise and have mercy upon Zion, imagine the I AM arising within you - mercy applied to the inner life you call by that name. The set time is not a distant future; it is the moment you acknowledge that you are already favored and allow that recognition to color every thought and feeling. Your servants - the facets of you that serve truth: compassion, patience, discipline - take pleasure in Zion's stones and in the dust thereof; you value the tangible, humble elements of your inner world as the very raw materials of renewal. As you dwell in this mood, the outer circumstances begin to realign to reflect a mercy you have already assumed. Practice by assuming, revise any sense of delay, and feel it real that the mercy is present now, here, in your own I AM. The inner city rises because you believed it into being.
