Scripture Focus

3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Psalms 100:3-4

Biblical Context

Psalm 100:3-4 proclaims that the LORD is God, the Creator, and that we belong to Him as His people; it invites us to enter consciousness with gratitude and praise. In Neville's terms, the verse points to an inner shift from self-rule to awareness of the I AM.

Neville's Inner Vision

I awaken to the truth that the LORD, the I AM within, is the sole creator of my experience. It is this I AM that fashions me, not a separate ego. I am one of the flock within the pasture of divine order, guided by the Shepherd of consciousness. I enter the gates of my mind with thanksgiving, choosing appreciation as the first posture of being. In the courts of my inner temple, I offer praise, knowing praise harmonizes my life with the I AM. This is not a distant decree but an inner rearrangement: when gratitude becomes the atmosphere, my entire world aligns to the sense of being created by love and led by wisdom. The verse invites me to rest in the realization that I am held, not by chance, but by a living, aware presence that I am.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, declare 'I am in the LORD's pasture,' and feel gratitude flood your awareness. Visualize entering the gates of your mind with thanksgiving and stepping into the bright courts with praise.
