Biblical Context
The verse presents an inner declaration of unmovable security, as if adversity can never touch the self.
Neville's Inner Vision
Psalm 10:6 presents a fixed inner verdict: I shall not be moved, for I shall never be in adversity. Neville would call this a state of consciousness, where the sense of security arises from identification with the I AM rather than from outward conditions. The verse shows an instinct to look to circumstances for safety, but the true movement is within: you are the awareness that witnesses, proclaims, and can revise what you take as real. If you wish to remain unshaken, you must not fight the appearance but awaken a stronger assumption: I am the unmovable awareness now, and I move all conditions by my inner decree. In that moment, adversity loses its grip, because it is felt as a thought in the field of consciousness, not as a fact in the outer world. Persist in feeling the wish fulfilled—security, guidance, providence—and allow your surrounding scenes to conform to this inner state. The 'not moved' attitude becomes a natural expression of the I AM, not a stubborn denial, and you walk through life with a luminous, steady center.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, repeat: I AM the unmovable awareness; I shall not be moved by any appearance. Feel the inner ground as security and revise the sense of adversity by resting in that identity.
