Scripture Focus

3For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
Psalms 10:3

Biblical Context

Psalms 10:3 speaks of the wicked who boast in their desires and bless covetousness, which the LORD abhors; it points to an inner misalignment between desire-driven identity and divine order.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the Neville Goddard perspective, 'the wicked' are not distant individuals but states of consciousness rooted in lack and self-importance. To boast of heart's desire is to tether identity to a future possession, a subtle trap that keeps the mind in lack. 'Blessing the covetous' represents an inner habit of praising wealth as life’s measure, thereby divorcing the self from the I AM—the Living Awareness animating all. When you identify with outward desire and treat it as your truth, you invite the inner law to reject that split, for the One Power cannot support a divided claim. The cure is a shift from seeking outward signs to recognizing yourself as the I AM, already complete in consciousness. Declare internally that you are the Presence that fulfills every wish; imagine the felt state of abundance within, not as an external supply but as your immediate being. In that alignment, craving loosens its grip and the inner movement returns to unity, revealing you are not distant from fulfillment but its very center.

Practice This Now

Act as if the wish is already real: assert 'I AM abundance now' and feel the uplift as a present state; revise any thought of lack into the recognition that you are the I AM, fulfillment, and presence.
