Inner Break of Wickedness

Psalms 10:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus

15Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.
Psalms 10:15

Biblical Context

The verse commands breaking the arm of the wicked and seeking out wickedness until none remain, a call to uproot evil at its source. In Neville's view, this reflects cleansing inner states so that the outer world mirrors a just, pure consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

From the Neville lens, the 'wicked' and the 'evil man' are not persons apart from you but states of consciousness within. 'Break thou the arm' is a metaphor for disarming the power you have given to fear, resentment, or judgment—pulling the lever that keeps those states active. 'Seek out his wickedness till thou find none' becomes an inner practice: trace each outward projection back to its source in imagination, and refuse to feed it with emotional life. When you notice a belief in separation or harm, you do not fight it with force but awaken from it by assuming a higher state of awareness. Say to yourself, I AM the awareness that dissolves every projection; I AM the justice that nullifies all claims of cruelty. As you persist in this revision, the so-called wicked act loses its grip, because you have replaced belief in it with the truth of your unity with the divine I AM. Soon, the inner climate shifts, and the outer scenes adjust to reflect that settled inner reality.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume the state 'I AM the I AM, this wickedness is dissolved in the light of my awareness,' feeling it real as you breathe. Continue until that inner steadiness shapes your outer experience.
