Inner Justice and I AM
Psalms 10:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Psalms 10 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The psalm notes that God sees mischief and the vulnerable seek His help. It calls for breaking the wicked’s power until none is found.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the entire scene is not 'out there' but in you, the field of awareness. When you hear 'Thou hast seen it,' translate it as: I, the I AM, am always aware of every thought that wounds. The mischief and spite you perceive are not separate forces but states of consciousness you have entertained. The 'poor' who commits himself unto Thee is the vulnerable part of you—the child within—that seeks safety in the One awareness you are. You are the helper of the fatherless when you refuse to empower fear with attention. Then the cry 'Break thou the arm of the wicked' becomes a revision: break the grip of any thought that claims power over you. Push your attention away from it and return to the steady gaze of I AM. 'Seek out his wickedness till thou find none' becomes a devotional self-interrogation: probe your beliefs until you discern no power there, no split between God and you. In that silent awakening, justice is done within, and your outward world aligns to your inner truth.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the feeling: 'I am the helper of the vulnerable; the power of wickedness has no hold here.' Then imagine the wickedness’ arm breaking, and hold that image until the sense of release settles in.
