Biblical Context
Psalm 1:6 contrasts the secure path of the righteous with the fate of the ungodly. It states that God knows the way the righteous choose.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville's reading, the 'way' is not a road but a state of consciousness. The I AM within you knows this path because you have already chosen it in imagination. When you dwell in the feeling of being righteous—whole, aligned, and present—the outer world begins to move along that line. The 'ungodly' are the habits of fear and separation that perish when you stop feeding them with attention. Imagination is your instrument; by living from the end as if it is already yours, you make the known path visible. God’s knowledge is not a distant judgment but the intimate awareness you cultivate. The Psalm asks you to attend to your inner discipline: what you accept in your mind becomes the route your feet tread. Trust that the I AM knows your way because you have become it in consciousness.
Practice This Now
