Inner Tree of Life Manifestation

Psalms 1:3-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Psalms 1 in context

Scripture Focus

3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
Psalms 1:3-4

Biblical Context

Two states are described: a rooted, fruitful life by living water, and an unrooted, shifting life like chaff blown away.

Neville's Inner Vision

Feeling the psalm’s imagery, I see the tree by the rivers of water as a state of consciousness fully awake. I am the I AM planted in the living stream of awareness, and from this root I bear fruit in its season; vitality and successful expression follow when I dwell in that inner truth. The leaf that does not wither refers to a steady life of perception that remains vibrant under every condition. What I do prospers because it is born of the divine current that sustains me, not from struggle. The ungodly are thoughts and tendencies not anchored in this I AM—wind-blown, shallow, easily scattered like chaff. When fear or lack arise, I revise: I am the tree by the waters, and my inner climate determines the outer scene. In this alignment, every action moves with grace, every desire ripens in its season, and I am kept fruitful by the power of awareness.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume you are the tree by the rivers of water, and feel the life flowing to your roots. Picture fruit growing in its season and your vitality remaining unshaken as you move through daily life.
