36But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
Proverbs 8:36

Biblical Context

The verse says that sin against wisdom wounds the soul; those who hate wisdom love death.

Neville's Inner Vision

To sin against me is to refuse the living guidance within you. In this context, 'me' is Wisdom, the I AM you awaken to as your inner standard. When you entertain thoughts of separation, lack, or fear, you are choosing death by your own hand, for you are pushing away the very support that animates your world. Those who hate me—who resist the inner decree of worth, order, and right discernment—live as if death were even possible, for their imagination remains tethered to limitation. But you, beloved, can turn the tide by recognizing that wisdom is not an external rule but the steady state of consciousness you inhabit. Your mind, rightly attended, will never betray the truth of your nature; it will reveal doors where others see walls. When you accept the feeling of the wish fulfilled—the sense that you are guided, intact, and safe—you enact the very life you seek. Sinner or saint, you return to the I AM by assuming the attitude that you are wisdom now and forever.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and affirm: I am Wisdom now. Revise any sense of separation by embracing the I AM as your guiding presence, and feel it real.
