Proverbs 8:32-34

Biblical Context

Listen to Wisdom and keep its ways. Blessing comes to the one who hears and attends at the gates of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

To me, Wisdom is not a distant tutor but the I AM that never leaves my side. When Proverbs bids us to hear, it is not a command to listen with ears alone, but to attend to the inner movement of the self—your awareness choosing, moment by moment, to align with the truth you already are. 'Blessed,' it says, is the soul that keeps these ways, for blessing is the natural rhythm of a mind at rest in its own light. The instruction to hear, and to refuse it not, becomes your daily posture: you watch at the gates of your consciousness, you wait at the posts of your doors, you refuse doubt and distraction. In this inner listening, the world does not rule you; you rule the world by consent of the present awareness. Notice that the blessing comes not from clever acts, but from fidelity to the inner state in which wisdom speaks and you respond with immediate alignment. The I AM within becomes your living compass, guiding thoughts, choices, and even outer events into harmony with your assumed state.

Practice This Now

Sit in quiet and declare, 'I am listening to Wisdom at my gates.' Then feel the reality of alignment already present; imagine daily choices flowing from that inner listening.
