Wisdom's Riches Within

Proverbs 8:19-21 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 8 in context

Scripture Focus

19My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.
20I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:
21That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.
Proverbs 8:19-21

Biblical Context

Wisdom's fruit is stated to be more valuable than gold, and her path leads those who love her along righteousness. In so doing, they inherit substance and their treasures are filled.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of Wisdom as the inner I AM, the divine governor speaking within you. Proverbs 8:19-21 declares that Wisdom’s fruit is worth more than gold and her revenue finer than silver because she guides you in the path of righteousness. When you love Wisdom, you are led to inherit substance—the very substance of your being—so that your treasures are filled. The outer world answers to the inner state you assume about yourself. If you revise your idea of yourself as poor and replace it with the certainty of abundance as already yours, you awaken the inward provision that floods the chest of your experience. Assume this reality now, feel it as true in the present tense, and watch imagination do the work of bringing it forth. The act is simple: dwell in the feeling of being supplied, and let the inner movement lead you to the right actions. In this way, your life becomes a clear display of Wisdom’s justice and your inherited wealth.

Practice This Now

Practice: close your eyes and affirm 'I am wealth; I am substance.' Visualize a vault within you opening, pouring light and abundance into your life, and rest in the feeling that it is already yours.
