7Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
Proverbs 4:7

Biblical Context

Wisdom is the supreme priority. Seek it with your whole being and, with all you acquire, cultivate true understanding.

Neville's Inner Vision

Wisdom is not a possession but a state of consciousness governed by the I AM. The principal thing is the dominant attitude you inhabit. To get wisdom you do not chase external facts but assume the wise mind and let understanding accompany your awareness. Rehearse the belief I am wise now and I understand, until that feeling saturates your inner dialogue and informs every perception, choice, and reaction. As you persist in this inner assumption, events align with discernment and clarity, for imagination fashions your lived world. Your outer circumstances become a mirror of your inner conviction, and the moment you dwell in a wise posture you perceive more accurately, discern motives, and take right action. This is a practical awakening: you revise by assuming the truth of wisdom, and the world reflects that truth back to you. In short, awaken to the inner wisdom and your life rearranges to express wise understanding.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and declare I am wise now I understand. Hold that feeling for a minute and then apply it to one current decision, noticing how your perception shifts.
