Biblical Context
Proverbs 4:5-9 urges you to seek wisdom, hold onto it, and let its words guide your life. It promises preservation, honor, and grace when you embrace wisdom as your primary aim.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the command 'get wisdom' is not a search outward but an awakening to the I AM within. When you assume that wisdom is yours, you align your inner speech, your feelings, and your images with a timeless order, so the words you hear from within become a law by which you live. Wisdom is the principal thing because it sits on the throne of consciousness, shaping perception, choices, and experience from within. To exalt her is to cultivate a reverent inner posture toward your own inner counsel, allowing it to promote you and bring you to honor. The ornament of grace and crown of glory are your felt sense of value that appear when you embrace inner truth rather than chase appearances. As you rest in that awareness, the outer world rearranges to mirror the inner arrangement you have assumed. You are not fighting to obtain wisdom; you are recognizing that you already are the living principle of wisdom, and your life simply reflects the truth you hold in mind.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly and declare, 'I am wisdom,' feeling the I AM within you affirm this truth. Then imagine a crown of grace resting on your head as you move through the day from inner understanding.
