22For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Proverbs 4:20-22

Biblical Context

Pay attention to wise words; keep them before your eyes and in your heart. They bring life to those who find them and health to the whole body.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, these lines are not a call to seek God outside but a reminder that you, the I AM, teach yourself your own state. When you attend to the words as if they issued from your own consciousness, you align inner sight and feeling to a living principle. Let the words become the life you know, and the health you enjoy, here and now, because you have awakened to the reality that the word is power. The eye is your inner vision and the heart your inner feeling; keep the word before the inner eyes and let it permeate the heart until it becomes your atmosphere. Life and health are not distant treasures but the atmosphere of your awareness; as you dwell in that state, the world mirrors it. The moment you acknowledge the truth that these words are true for you now, you experience them as present: the body relaxes, energy returns, and vitality arises from the awakened sense of I AM.

Practice This Now

Practice: Sit quietly with eyes closed and imagine the words spoken from your I AM; repeat These words are my life and health now, and feel your body respond with ease.
