Biblical Context
Keep the good doctrine and commandments in your heart, and seek wisdom and understanding as the principal aim. Embracing her brings honor, protection, and a crown of glory.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, these lines invite you to an inner conversion, not an outward obedience. The 'good doctrine' and the law are the quality of awareness you inhabit; wisdom is not a set of rules but the living order of your I AM. I was my father's son—until you recognize that you are the father and the son within, lovingly instructed by the memory of unity. When you let your heart retain these words and keep their command in mind, you live as the truth you imagine. Get wisdom, get understanding: to get them is to assume them now, to feel their reality, and to walk as one who already possesses discernment. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee; love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee, bringing you to honour as you embrace her. She shall give to your head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
Practice This Now
Practice: Close your eyes, assume the feeling 'I am wise now,' and allow a crown of grace to rest upon your head. Then revise a current moment of confusion by declaring, 'From this moment I act from wisdom,' and notice the inner alignment shift.
