Biblical Context
Outer favors and beauty are unreliable measures of worth; true praise comes from a life in reverent alignment with the LORD. The gate of the self opens when deeds testify the inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
Favour and beauty are the world’s surface signals, often deceitful about who you are. The truth of you rests in the inner reverence toward the I AM—the LORD within—whose presence you acknowledge, not with fear of punishment, but with steady affection. When you hold this state, you stop seeking validation in appearances and you begin to act from the consciousness that you are already beloved. The clause 'she shall be praised' is not a boast; it is the inner recognition that flows from living in harmony with the divine nature you inhabit. 'Give her of the fruit of her hands' directs you to let your deeds testify to your intent. The gates—the outer world—will reflect the inward discipline as your choices, speech, and work align with this Lord-state. So practice: imagine, in a moment, the Lord within approving your next action; then revise any thought that outward charm or favors determine your worth, and feel yourself already praised by the I AM through your visible acts.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, in imagination, assume the LORD within as your guiding awareness; feel the I AM approving your next action. Then revise any thought that outward charm determines worth and let the next deed reveal the inner state.
