Scripture Focus

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.
24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.
Proverbs 31:23-24

Biblical Context

It describes a husband publicly known at the gates. It also notes the wife’s skilled textile work that she sells to merchants.

Neville's Inner Vision

In every line, the gates are the inner decision-point of your I AM. The husband’s reputation there is the outward sign of an inward alignment—when the I AM remains calm, your outer life recognizes you by the steadiness of your partnerships and ventures. The wife’s craft—fine linen and girdles—embodies disciplined, creative energy given form. Your inner state moves into sensation and action as wealth—provision, partnership, and dignified work—flowing to others through goods, service, and value. Wealth is not merely coins but the coherent energy of your conceived self made manifest. If you dwell in the conviction 'I am the I AM, the source of all supply,' you will see thoughts, plans, and conversations harmonize toward that outcome. The lesson is inner economy: hold a vision of yourself as capable in the marketplace and as a partner whose presence elevates life, and the world will adjust to that vision. This is how the Imago Dei enters daily living—through mindful production and the integrity of influence.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Close your eyes, feel the I AM within as the source of all supply, and revise any lack into abundance by picturing yourself confidently at the gates, your work known and valued by merchants.
