Inner Virtue Realized Now
Proverbs 31:13-22 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage presents a woman who works diligently to provide for her household, buys land, plants, and cares for the poor, embodying strength, prudence, and generosity.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are not reading about another person, but your own state of consciousness made visible. The 'virtuous woman' is the I AM animating disciplined imagination: she gathers resources, tills and plants, and treats provision as an inner act of creation. The ships, fields, and vineyard symbolize conditions you already accept in mind, so their fruit appears outwardly as you dwell in the conviction that supply is yours. The candle that never goes out by night is your steadfast awareness, an inner light that remains when external appearances darken. Your hands busy with wool, spindle, and distaff are the consistent activity of mind, turning intention into form. Reaching toward the poor and the needy is the mind’s extension of generosity into action, not a plea but a declaration of abundance. When you trust this inner state, the snow of fear cannot chill your household, for you are clothed in confidence and beauty, and your life reflects your settled conviction.
Practice This Now
Take 5 minutes to close your eyes and assume the state of the virtuous woman: imagine you already possess the field and vineyard, your candle brightly lit, and your household supplied; then silently declare, I AM abundance in action, and feel the reality of that state now.
