Inner Trust, Outer Grace

Proverbs 31:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 31 in context

Scripture Focus

11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Proverbs 31:11-12

Biblical Context

The verse says the heart of the husband trusts his wife completely, providing safety, and she will do him good all the days of her life.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your one and only I AM, the 'husband' is the awake awareness and the 'her' is the faithful feminine principle of thought. When that inner trust is complete, you need not chase spoils from without; the security you seek arises from the steady, benevolent movements of your imagination. The 'days of her life' become a continuous stream of right-thinking and benevolent acts of the subconscious, guiding events toward good without struggle. As you refuse to doubt, grace and favor enter the sanctuary of your house. See trust as a condition you adopt, not a future outcome to win; as you assume the feminine principle acts for your good, your external world unfolds in harmony. The inner marriage of I AM and imagination becomes true provision: desires are fulfilled as you dwell in the certainty that all will be well because consciousness has chosen fidelity.

Practice This Now

Assume now that the I AM in you trusts its inner feminine aspect completely; feel that trust as reality. See this trust flowing daily as good in every area, removing the need for any outside spoil.
