Balanced Provision Prayer

Proverbs 30:7-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 30 in context

Scripture Focus

7Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:
8Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
9Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
Proverbs 30:7-9

Biblical Context

Two requests are made: keep me from poverty and from riches, and remove vanity and lies. The aim is a steady, honest provision that preserves humility and reverence for the Lord.

Neville's Inner Vision

Two states I require of thee: a steady measure of supply that keeps thy heart humble and thy mind clear. Vanity and lies, those inner pretensions, remove far from me; do not mistake abundance for God, nor lack for His absence. When thou imaginest that I AM is thy only source, give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me; this is the recognition that thy life is the expression of divine awareness. If thou art full, thou mayest deny thee and say, Who is the LORD? If thou art poor, thou mayest steal and profane His name. Let thy state be balance-enough: enough so that gratitude remains and distraction fades. This is the inner climate in which the name of God is honored, not by ritual but by steady trust in the I AM that nourishes thee. In such alignment, thy world reflects proportion, integrity, and inward rest.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes; assume the feeling of balanced provision as already mine, and declare, 'I am nourished by the I AM within me, neither lacking nor in excess.'
