Proverbs 30:4-6 asks who has power beyond the heavens and earth and warns to keep God's words pure, trusting them as protection, while not adding to them.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture Proverbs 30:4–6 as a map of the mind. The questions about ascending, descending, gathering the wind, binding the waters point to the limits of mortal reasoning and the great truth that only God, the I AM within, stands beyond measure. When you hear 'what is his name, and what is his son's name,' do not seek a label in the external world; hear it as the unknowable mystery of your own everlasting awareness. Every word of God is pure: treat the divine Word as your inner standard—your superior self, your creative law. He is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him: trust is not belief in something apart from you, but a turning of your attention to the I AM that knows no lack. Add thou not unto His words: the moment you revise God’s Law with your own reasoning, you corrupt it and break the spell of right order. The practical truth is this: your imagination is the vehicle of God’s Word, and your trust in it becomes the shield that protects your life.
Practice This Now
Assume you are the I AM that speaks the pure Word; revise any doubt until every thought aligns with 'Every word of God is pure' and feel the shield of trust surround you.
