Dwelling of Blessed Awareness

Proverbs 3:33 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 3 in context

Scripture Focus

33The curse of the LORD is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just.
Proverbs 3:33

Biblical Context

The LORD's curse rests on the wicked's house. The habitation of the just is blessed.

Neville's Inner Vision

Think of the 'house' as your inner state, the overall atmosphere of your awareness. The 'curse' is not a penal decree from above but the result of dwelling in fear, separation, and lack. When you inhabit such thoughts, the inner dwelling becomes barren and conditions in your world mirror that emptiness. The 'blessing' on the just is the living sense of I AM—the divine presence that makes every room a sanctuary. The righteous one acts from unity with God in imagination, so blessings appear as favorable conditions, harmony, and peace in the home. You can shift from curse to blessing by altering your state of consciousness: reject the picture of separation, assume the feeling that I AM here, and dwell there until it is your natural reality. Imagination creates reality; therefore your environment bends to your inner alignment, and you become the author of your life rather than its victim.

Practice This Now

Practice: Close your eyes, breathe, and imagine your home bathed in radiant light; affirm 'I am blessed in this dwelling' and feel that blessing as real for five minutes, then carry that sensation into the day.
