Proverbs 3:1-4

Biblical Context

Proverbs 3:1-4 urges you to remember the inner law and keep mercy and truth close to your heart. Such alignment brings long life, peace, and understanding in the sight of God and man.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within you lies the law—the living I AM ordering every thought. Forget not this law, but let your heart keep the commandments: mercy and truth as your constant companions. Bind them about thy neck; write them on the table of thy heart as a deliberate impression on the subconscious. When mercy and truth become your primary posture, you will discover favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man because your outer world mirrors your inner alignment. The long life and peace you seek are not won by striving but by dwelling in that state of inner order. Your world bends to the image you hold of yourself; make that image the mercy-truth essential you wear. So live now as mercy and truth embodied, and notice how conditions shift to reflect that inner state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are living in mercy and truth. Feel the I AM guiding you with kindness, and vividly write these virtues on the table of your heart, sensing favor and understanding as already yours.
