Quiet Honor of Humble Spirit
Proverbs 29:23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Pride lowers a man; true honor is given to the humble in spirit.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner life is a state of consciousness; pride is a belief in separation from the I AM, a restless hunger for praise. When you turn inward and assume the humble, honored state of consciousness, you acknowledge the Presence that already upholds you. Humble in spirit becomes not a denial of power but a surrender of ego to the truth of who you are as God’s idea. Imagination then fashions your outward scene to reflect this inward royal order: discernment grows, patience lengthens, and the respect of others arises as a natural echo of your inner posture. Pride, loud and grasping, fades as quiet faith replaces it. If pride surfaces, revise by declaring, 'I am the I AM, and I am honored by the Presence within me.' Live from that state and watch your world rearrange itself to align with the inner decree.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and, with conviction, affirm: I am humble, I am honored, for the I AM within me holds me in dignity. Feel the truth as if it already is.
