Scripture Focus

27He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many a curse.
Proverbs 28:27

Biblical Context

Generosity to the poor reflects inner abundance; withholding your eyes from need fosters lack.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 28:27 announces the law of consciousness: you do not lose by giving; you prove your God-powered I AM by extending yourself toward the other. When you give, you are not offering coins to a distant object, you are aligning your inner state with abundance. If you hide your eyes and refuse awareness of need, you contract your consciousness; you invite a curse that feels like lack, limitation, and fear. Neville says: the world is your inner theater and all characters are projections of your state. To give is to move your consciousness into the vibration of enough, into the assurance that your supply is the one I AM that never fails. The act of giving becomes an act of self-definition: you are the source, and the source is inexhaustible. Practice this by entering into the feeling that you have already given, that your treasury is full, and that the recipient is already provided for through your gift. Then watch as outer events adjust to that inner conviction.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine a scene where you freely give to someone in need; feel the relief as if your act has already occurred, and dwell in the feeling of abundance.
