Biblical Context
Upright living secures safety, while perverse ways bring a sudden fall. Hard work brings plenty, vanity leads to poverty, and faithful character invites blessings—yet rushing to riches spoils innocence.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider these lines as an inner map. The walk that is upright is the steady alignment of awareness with I AM, a state that does not seek from without but receives from within. When consciousness remains faithful and undistracted, the inner movements harmonize, and what you call salvation or safety arrives as provision and peace. The 'perverse' path is the mind that wanders after appearances, imagining scarcity and instability; such a mind experiences a fall because its thoughts are out of alignment with divine rhythm. To 'till' his land is to till the inner soil with disciplined imagination—thoughts of abundance, gratitude, and purpose—so bread in your life becomes natural. Following vanity drains the inner field, producing poverty as the outer scene mirrors the inner climate. A 'faithful man' who abides in true being 'abounds with blessings' because faith cords to reality; but haste to be rich exposes the lack of innocence, for it reveals a mind grasping rather than calmly trusting. When you truly awaken to I AM, wealth and salvation appear as your living experience.
Practice This Now
Assume the upright state now, and feel it real as your present experience. Revise any lack-based belief until your inner climate reflects abundance.
