The Inner Glory of Proverbs 28:12
Proverbs 28:12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Righteous rejoicing brings great glory, while the rise of the wicked causes a person to feel hidden. The verse points to how inner states determine outward experience.
Neville's Inner Vision
Two states of consciousness stand before you. When you entertain righteousness, you awaken the great glory of your I AM; when you entertain the image of wickedness, you contract, hiding from the light you are. The outer event of 'rejoicing' is only a reflection of an inner feeling. The word 'glory' is not a future prize but your present awareness shining through. The 'wicked rise' is simply thoughts and feelings that oppose the truth of you, causing you to withdraw into private darkness. To walk this path, you do not fight the outer display; you revise your inner assumption. Surrender into the feeling that you are already the joyous, glorious I AM incarnate, and let the imagined scenes of the day conform to that reality. Keep your attention on the Crown of Self, the I AM within, and declare, 'I am the glory of God within me, and I dwell in that glory now.' The moment you maintain this, concealment dissolves, and your life mirrors the inner radiance you have assumed.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state of the righteous rejoicing; feel the inner glory as real as breath for five minutes. If a distracting picture of the wicked arises, revise it by returning to the I AM and the joyous feeling until it becomes your default.
