Proverbs 28:10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
To mislead the righteous is to trap the misleader in their own moral image; the verse says the wrongdoer falls into their own pit. The upright, in contrast, inherit good as their inner alignment with truth shapes reality.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner world is the stage where this proverb acts. The 'righteous' and the 'pit' are inner dispositions. When you imagine someone leading you astray, you are not judging another; you are witnessing a state of consciousness you have accepted as real. The fall is the recoil of a belief you entertain that others govern your fate. But the upright who possess good are simply the awareness that holds the vision of life as you desire. Do not fear punishment; instead revise the scene by assuming the I AM as the one who cannot be deceived by appearances. Rest in the conviction that you are the ruler of your inner weather, and that misdirection loses traction in the face of consistent, loving attention to your desired state. The moment you imagine the good you seek and feel it real, the 'pit' dissolves and the good becomes present.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM as ruler of the scene; revise the moment of being misled as your belief dissolving; feel it real by dwelling in the sensation of already having the good.
