Proverbs 27:20

Biblical Context

Proverbs 27:20 reveals that a bottomless appetite cannot be satisfied by earthly wealth or punishment. It teaches that inner lack drives endless seeking until one discovers fullness within.

Neville's Inner Vision

Viewed through the I AM, 'hell and destruction' are not external places but fixed states of consciousness—habits of lack that the mind believes will fill itself with things. Yet the eyes of man remain unsatisfied because satisfaction is not found in objects but in awareness. When you assume a different self, you do not bargain with fortune; you invite a new inner climate. Imagine the you that is one with the Source of all being, the I AM that supplies every need. Dwelling in that awareness, outer scenes begin to reflect a revised sense of abundance: not more stuff, but a firm inner certainty of sufficiency. The appetite that cries for more cannot stand in the presence of the felt fullness; it softens and recedes. Your task is to inhabit the state of fullness now, before the money or praise appears, and let feeling take the form of already having. This is not denial but a deliberate shift of attention from lack to the one power that creates.

Practice This Now

Sit in stillness and revise your state. Say, 'I am the fullness of all supply; the I AM provides all I need,' and feel that certainty now.
