27Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
Proverbs 26:27

Biblical Context

Proverbs 26:27 teaches that any plot to harm another boomerangs to the plotter. Inner actions forge outward events—what you imagine about others returns to you.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the I AM, the pit and the rolling stone are not other people but states of consciousness you entertain. If you form a plan to trap or humiliate another, you are digging in your own soil, not in the ground. The pit you fear becomes your own fear; the stone you push becomes your burden, returning with a rhythm that mirrors your inner posture. The law Neville teaches is the law of consciousness: you do not punish the world; you register your own vibration, and the world answers that vibration. When you insist on hurting, you teach your mind to expect foes, so your outer life furnishes them. When you bless and release, you invite a calm atmosphere in which no pit can take root and no stone can hurt you. Thus the verse is a reminder to guard your inner images and dwell in the I AM that blesses rather than plots, for that is how you set your fate.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and behold a mental pit you’re digging for another; instantly revise the scene by affirming, I AM that I AM, blessing them and releasing the pit from your mind. Feel the lightness rise as you let go.
