Biblical Context
Proverbs 24:6 teaches that true safety comes through wise counsel. When many counselors are sought, decisions are steered toward security rather than danger.
Neville's Inner Vision
To Neville, the verse is a map of inner psychology. War is your life’s moment of choice; safety is the rhythm of alignment when the inner state is coherent. The multitude of counsellors is not a crowd outside but the chorus of inner states that you allow to counsel you: clarity, courage, discernment, patience, compassion. The I AM—your true awareness—assembles these voices within the mind. When you entertain them as real, you are not seeking permission from a crowd but inviting the already present wisdom to speak. The safety surfaces as you commit to one imaginal decision, feeling that the decision is already made, as if you had the outcome in your hand. The practical step is an internal revision: acknowledge the desired state (confidence, prudence, calm) as if it were already present, then stand in that state and watch conditions bend to reflect it. The verse thus becomes a practice: cultivate the inner council, hear them, and trust their verdict, for external safety follows the vibrational state you maintain.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, invite your inner council (led by the I AM) to discuss your next decision, then revise your feeling to accept their verdict as yours, and feel safety blooming.
