Neville's Inner Vision
These sacred lines are not asking you to appease an external judge, but to awaken to a state of consciousness. Buy the truth, and sell it not — regard truth as your immediate, living assurance, the reality you refuse to barter for passing appearances. Invest in this inner wealth until it becomes your habitual world. The father of the righteous and the wise child are your own inner authorities who rejoice when you align with truth and nurture wise states within you. When you cultivate a wise inner child, you see outward life increasingly reflect discernment and harmony. Your father and mother shall be glad translates into harmony between the inner causes and the outer effects when your heart is sincerely given to the governing principle inside. 'My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways' is a direct instruction to surrender your entire being to the I AM within and to keep your attention fixed on the inner pattern it reveals. As you dwell in that awareness, the senses begin to respond to the inner law, and life unfolds consistent with your true state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and silently declare, 'I am the truth I seek; I give my heart to the I AM within and observe its ways.' Feel the sense of inner alignment settling into your chest and let your next choices flow from that fixed attention.
