Proverbs 23:15-18

Biblical Context

Proverbs 23:15-18 invites a wise heart, right speech, and daily reverence to the LORD, promising an end that is sure and an expectation that will not be cut off.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read through Neville's lens, the heart's wisdom is a state of consciousness. When your inner state is aligned with the I AM, the heart rejoices because God and you share one mind; your lips speaking right things confirms the alignment, and your deepest impulses rejoice as you enact truth. Do not envy the outward life of others, for envy stems from a lack of inner awareness. Instead, hold the fear of the LORD as constant awareness of your divine identity, carried throughout the day. There is an end to this drama, and your expectation shall not be cut off when you persist in imagining the end and living from that state. The verse invites you to abandon mere appearance and to anchor reality in the inner state you assume. In practice, the world must reflect the inner truth you cherish, for imagination creates reality and the I AM fulfills the end you deem real.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly and assume the end is already true. Feel the wise heart alive with that end, then speak one right, confident sentence from the assumed state.
