Biblical Context

Proverbs 2:10-11 says wisdom comes into the heart and knowledge is pleasant to the soul; discretion preserves you, and understanding keeps you.

Neville's Inner Vision

To me, this verse speaks of states of consciousness, not distant rules. When wisdom enters the heart, you have assumed a state in which truth is now yours and your I AM stands in alignment with it. Knowledge becomes a pleasant sensation to the soul because your inner sense of self has consented to the reality it embodies. Discretion is not merely a habit of behavior but the inner guard—an awareness that prevents you from projecting fears or unworthy images into your world. Understanding is the keeping power that holds the vision intact amid changing appearances, so your inner image remains coherent and manifests with clarity. Thus, safety and continuity arise not from outer safeguards, but from the integrity of your inner conviction. Enter this state daily: imagine you are the wise, safe self who preserves and keeps, and rest in the certainty that your assumption is becoming fact.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe into your chest, and assume the state: I am wisdom entering my heart; discretion preserves me, understanding keeps me. Feel it real.
