Scripture Focus

1My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

3Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;
4If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;
Proverbs 2:1-4

Biblical Context

Proverbs 2:1-4 urges you to receive wisdom, hide its commandments in your heart, and pursue understanding as priceless treasure. It invites an inner, disciplined attention toward continual seeking.

Neville's Inner Vision

I allow the inner voice of wisdom to affirm itself in me. I am the I AM that accepts counsel; therefore the words of wisdom enter my being and become law. I conceal the commandments as fixed truths in my heart, not to forget but to live by. I turn my ear inward toward wisdom, letting the inner counsel speak. I couple my desire with understanding until it becomes a felt knowing. I cry after knowledge and lift my voice for understanding, letting longing clarify and deepen my vision. I value wisdom above wealth and search for it as a priceless treasure, seeking hid treasures within. This is not mere reading but becoming the state of wisdom itself, a present awareness that guides every choice. When I assume that state, my world rearranges to reflect the truth I have embraced.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and declare, 'I AM wisdom in me now.' Feel that truth as a present reality and imagine the commandment guiding your next action; revise any doubt until it feels real.
