Biblical Context
The verse says that house and riches are a father's inheritance, and that a prudent wife is a divine gift from the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
From the I AM vantage, the verse is a confession of inner possession, not a record of outward fact. 'House and riches' are the settled conditions of your inner state—security, order, and the ability to provide—an inheritance issued by your past states of consciousness. The 'fathers' are not lineage here but the patterns of thought you inherited and now own as present reality. The 'prudent wife' from the LORD is the inner harmony you encounter when the right relationship between your impulses and your discipline is established; she stands for prudence, unity, and cooperation with divine Wisdom within. The LORD is the I AM within you, the source of all prudent governance. When you assume you are already the possessor of home and provision, when you revise lack and dwell in the feeling of completion, you align with Providence. Wealth then flows as the fruit of this inner order, and the apparent partner becomes a reflection of your own inner partnership with the divine.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly and assume, 'I am now in possession of a home and abundant provision, provided by the LORD within me.' Then revise any memory of scarcity and feel the reality of this inner arrangement as your present state.
