Inner Wounds of Gossip

Proverbs 18:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Proverbs 18 in context

Scripture Focus

8The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.
Proverbs 18:8

Biblical Context

Talebearing wounds the listener and sinks into the belly. The words you hear reveal your own inner state and invite you to revise your reality from within.

Neville's Inner Vision

The talebearer is a state of mind; the words become seeds that grow as belief when they lodge in the belly. You are the I AM, aware and untouched by passing talk. The healing move is to refuse to treat gossip as fact and to revise from a higher premise: all beings act from their level of consciousness. Assume your wholeness and declare that you are free from tales that do not serve harmony. Feel it real by imagining the words dissolving into light and your inner life settling into peace. Reinterpretation turns a wound into a signpost directing you back to your true self.

Practice This Now

When you hear talebearing, pause and imagine the words falling away as mist. Silently affirm 'I AM' and revise the narrative to a higher story of unity and purity.
