Biblical Context
Proverbs 16:31 teaches that a hoary head is a crown of glory when found on the path of righteousness. It points to inner dignity that grows as one lives in alignment with divine order.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the hoary head in the verse is not a calendar mark but a symbol of steady consciousness. When your awareness rests in the I AM, age becomes a crown only as you have found the way of righteousness within. The glory of the old man is not in the number of years, but in the quiet alignment of desire with divine order. Imagination shapes this crown by consent; you do not earn it from outward deeds, you assumed it by the inward decision that your life is governed by righteousness. As you persist in the present act of choosing what is true, you awaken the crown and wear it in imagination; the outward will reflect this inner state. So, if you desire the crown, renew your assumption: I am the righteousness-conscious self, crowned in glory now, and all the days of my life I tread in the way of God.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume the state: 'I am the crowned righteousness now.' Feel its weight and act accordingly.
