Inner Prayer and Righteous Alignment
Proverbs 15:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage contrasts outward sacrifices by the wicked with the inward prayer of the upright, and declares the wicked's way detestable while those who pursue righteousness are loved.
Neville's Inner Vision
Verse 8–9 speaks of sacrifice and path as inner states. In Neville's language, God is the I AM, the steady awareness you possess. The 'wicked' are those minds that perform religious acts to feel secured, not because of inner transformation. They mistake ritual for reality. The 'upright' prays by living from a finished state, a consciousness that already belongs to Truth. The 'delight' of the LORD is the felt alignment you inhabit when you refuse to separate inner conviction from outer conduct. The 'way of the wicked' becomes an abomination to your inner law because it remains contrary to the order you now claim. The one who follows after righteousness is loved in the sense that your own inner gravity turns toward right action and right seeing, and your life begins to reflect that inner claim. This is not moral scolding but a description of how consciousness responds to alignment. The verse invites you to shift your inner condition rather than chase external rites. When you assume 'I am the I AM, right now,' you invite the world to mirror that state and reveal the divine order as your present experience.
Practice This Now
Assume the state 'I am the I AM, aligned with righteousness now' and feel that certainty in your chest. Let that feeling revise any sense of lack and inform every action.
